The 3M™ E-A-Rcaps™ Banded Hearing Protector (3M ID 7000103729, model EC-01-000) is one of the lightest banded hearing protectors available. Soft, pod-shaped polyurethane foam caps seal the entrance of the ear canal to reduce exposure to hazardous noise, with an SNR of 23 dB. It is CE certified to EN 352-2.
The caps push straight into place without rolling, so there is no need to touch the eartip, which keeps them hygienic in dirty environments. When not needed, the band rests around the neck, making E-A-Rcaps™ ideal for workers who move in and out of noisy areas, supervisors and site visitors.
