The V-Gard 950 Class 2 safety helmet is specifically designed for electrical work requiring advanced arc flash protection up to 7kA. This lightweight, unvented helmet combines modern, sports-style aesthetics with robust safety features. Made from durable ABS for strength and lateral crush protection, it includes an integrated GS-ET-29 Class 2 (7kA) faceshield with 75% light transmittance. The helmet also features unique extended neck and ear flaps for added protection.
With its low-profile design and patented visor mechanism, the helmet offers enhanced functionality while minimizing bulk. The faceshield provides protection from impacts, chemical splashes, UV radiation, molten metal, and electric arcs. It includes two positions—working and stand-by—and is coated with premium anti-fog and anti-scratch technology for compatibility with corrective or safety glasses.
Certified for electrical insulation under EN 397 (440 V AC) and EN 50365 (1000 V AC), this helmet also meets protection standards for molten metal splash (MM option). Its perimeter channel diverts rain and debris, making it ideal for outdoor use. The anti-static assembly is certified for ATEX/explosive environments (ELECTROSTATIC-INERIS certified).
Complete with a 4-point chinstrap for retention, protective foam for an enhanced faceshield seal, and a 6-point Fas-Trac® III ratchet suspension with a replaceable, washable sweatband, the helmet offers excellent comfort and stability. Delivered in a reusable storage bag, this helmet ensures long-term performance and reliability.
