The Heckel MACASPHALT safety boot is ideal for those working in extreme conditions faced by highway maintenance and road construction workers. Unlike other outdoor industries where safety footwear with a deep tread is recommended to cope with muddy and steep terrain, working with tarmacadam or asphalt surfaces requires an outsole with a smoother profile to avoid leaving marks in the material. The Heckel MACASPHALT MACSOLE® rubber sole is resistant to contact heat up to 300°C (HRO) and provides good insulation to heat (HI certified). This means the temperature inside the boot does not increase by more than 22°C when subjected to a temperature of 150°C for 30 minutes.
